Our house is situated on a small Cul-De-Sac with a green in the middle and the houses around the outside. This makes it a very quiet and tranquill place, ideal for children and adults alike. We have Front and Back gardens that have been well looked after and have plenty of space. The house itself has two large bedrooms and a "big" boxroom, a spacious living room and a "galley" type kitchen, a small but adequate bathroom/toilet. We are less than seven miles from the centre of London yet ten minutes away from fields and countryside. There is underground, bus and rail links all within a ten minute walk and shops within a five minute walk including a Post Office. Imagine a typical "english village green" with a few wood-clad houses surrounding it and you've got Maple Gardens down to a tee. We are very close to 3 primary schools *(two of which are OFSTED Recommended) and a couple of Secondary schools, theres even a very expensive "private school" nearby, if your loaded.
There are twenty six houses on the cul-de-sac and nineteen of them have been bought, our neighboors recently sold there identical home to ours for ** two hundred and thirty seven thousand pounds, and yes this is a RTB property.
And just to mention that the local council completely modernised the Kitchen in January 2008, Lastly, there is a small patio area leading out from the back door in the Kitchen, as well as a wooden shed that we use as a washer/dryer room. Just an all round lovely place to live and grow up in, with all the benefits of living in London but without the Grime and Crime. We have spent 14 blissful years here and would stay if our families were closer. Thats why we are looking for anywhere in the N.Yorkshire/E.Riding area or will consider other parts of Yorkshire if the property warrants it. We are even willing to DOWNSIZE to a 2 bedroom house if need be that is how much families mean to us. Properties need to be a House/Bungalow/Maisonette (sorry no flats) have a sole use Garden and preferably lots of space. Not much to ask!! Must be somewhere out there that fits the bill???? Is it your place?? Then email me RSVP ASAP at leon_gittens@hotmail.com.
Would also be up for a 3way,4way, 23way swap if needs be, so keep me in mind.
Thanks for reading this and good luck with your searching, but always remember we are lucky enough to have a roof to swap in the first place!!!!!
Yours Hopefully
Leon and Rachel.
