3 Bedroom recently decorated house in Pontefract
I have a 3 bedroom house i am looking to swop with a 2/3 bedroom property within commutable distance of York University.
Im looking with around 15 miles, preferably less, of Heslington.
The house is fairly newly decorated and carpetted. I have only held the tennancy for 9 months, carpets have only been laid a maximum of 7 months. All the rooms where newly decorated when i moved in, some rooms newly replastered.
The house consists of:
Kitchen- a good size, room for cooker, washer large fridge and small (kids table) there is an unstairs cupboard which is a fair size then the room looks out onto the garden
Hall- the hall is very spacious and big, lots of light comes in as there is a window and large door surround which lets in floods of light.
Lounge/dinning room- this is one room divided by a wall but no door way. Both room are a good size, plenty of space for kids to play. Room enough for a 6 seater table with plenty of space.
Bathroom- fairly compact, not tiny but certainly not huge, has a bath with shower above, large window lets in plenty of light.
Master bedroom- very big room, i have a double bed and there copious space around it. There is a double built in wardrobe and plenty of space for drawers and cupboard free standing.
Bedroom 2- another fair sized room with built in cupboard. Window looks out onto the garden and lets in plenty of light.
Bedroom 3- smallest room in the house approx 6ft x 6ft, big enough to have a single bed in, either direction. Currently used as a study with more than enough space.
Garden is not huge but we over look a green and a playcourt/grassed tennis court so outside space has never been a problem.
Parking is on the service road at the back of the garden.
It is a 10-15 min walk to town centre and local super markets, and there is a row of shops around 5 minutes walk away.
Close to 3 train stations and a busy bus station.
Also walkable distance from Pontefract Park and Racecourse.
And J32 designer outlet, 24hr Asda & Xscape (which has an indoor ski slope, a cinema, climbing wall, bowling alley, bars, shops and restaurants) is in the neighbouring town of Castleford which is just a 10 min drive away.
It is within reasonable communatble ditances of Leeds, Wakefield, York and Sheffield (at a push)
Im looking for a house out of preference but will be more than willing to consider other options. Needs parking space for one car.
