I have a 2 bed ground floor flat in ashford. Although I dont have a garden the flat is in victoria park which means there are playing fields, dog walking, childrens play areas, picnic areas and a stream. So I really dont miss a garden. In fact its better because I dont have to mow the grass!!
The flat is well decorated and a good size for a small family with one or two children. It would also be perfect for an elderley couple as it is on the ground floor and could substitute for a bungalow. There are 3 good primary schools all within walking distance and the local shops are also 15mins walk away. To get to town it is a short walk through the park and over the railway bridge which takes a maximum of 20 mins. However if you prefer to use public transport there are buses running every 15 mins to town from the main road.
So the location is very practical and the neighbours dont give us any trouble.
We need to move closer to canterbury for college and university. We would consider faversham or any surrounding areas of canterbury. It needs to be 2 bed as we have a small child.
