I have a three bed beautiful Housing Association property in Studland, Dorset that I want to exchange for the same in Canterbury, Kent - I will consider the outskirts too.... My postcode is BH19 3BX so you can look it up on www.streetmap.co.uk. I JUST NEED TO GET TO CANTERBURY SO I'LL BE INTERESTED IN ANY MULTI-SWAPS ETC.....
The property is one of eight in a very peaceful community, it's an end of terrace house. We only moved into the property in August and so I have concentrated on getting the inside decorated and looking nice - it was a complete state when we got there unfortunately. So as a result the front and back gardens need some attention.
When you go through the front door you are in the hallway (which is quite sizeable) and to your left is the kitchen (9.5ft by 11.8ft) and to your right is the downstairs toilet (toilet and hand basin). The kitchen is big enough to house a dining table and chairs in one corner and has spaces for fridge, washing machine and cooker. If you didn't want to have a dining table and chairs you could easily put in more units.
Looking down the hallway and past the stairs on the right is a large living room (17.3ft by 13.7ft) which leads onto decking and the back garden. The lounge is a fantastic size and we have been able to fit in three two-seater sofas with no trouble and to the back of the room we have put our computer and office space. The room has a fully functioning open fire which is fantastic in this weather.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two of which are double sized (11.3ft by 8.11ft and 9.10ft by 11.8ft) and one is a single (7.6ft by 7.8ft), and we have a bathroom which is a comfortable size. (6.7ft by 6.5ft).
The schools are based in Swanage and Wareham and the school bus comes and picks the children up at 8am, takes them to school and drops them off at 4pm - the pick up point is literally a minute down the road. This service is free as well!
There is a car ferry approx two minutes drive away which crosses Poole harbour and takes you directly into Bournemouth from Studland and it takes about 5 mins once on board, so the fantastic shopping centre of Bournemouth is about another two minute drive from there. In the other direction you come to the seaside resort of Swanage where you can get everything you need from the collection of shops there.
I hope that this helps. I really am loathed to exchange, however the course I want to study is only in Canterbury so I would want to move at the end of July/August. If you want any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
