Are you still looking for an exchange. I live in South London. I have a large 4 bed house. No photos at present but working in it. I have a lovely walled front garden, with lights and gate. Parking for two cars at the front. I am an EOT house and have a side entrance to a fully enclosed back garden with patio. Newly turfed garden and flowerbeds and a koi pond. We also have a new shed and again lighting to the back.
The house is lovely. It has four beds upstairs. bathroom and toilet. The bedrooms 3 of the bedrooms have recently been decorated. They all have floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes and they all have laminated flooring. We have a large loft which has been floored for convenience.
Downstaits I have an extremely large kitchen whcih has an american style fridge/freezer, a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a range cooker and still bags of room. The kitchen has recently been rfitted by ourselves and is lovely. We have a downstairs toilet which we have totally tiled and the whole of downstairs flooring is ceramic tiles. We have been through asummer and winter now and would not go back to carpet.
We have had a new combi boiler put in and the bills are really cheap. We have fitted wooden doors throughout the house and varnished them. Two of the downstairs have safety glass in them. We have made lovely radiator covers for the radiators and have decorated neutrally throught.
The schools are all local and we are lucky to have the best ones within five minutes walk from us. We have some local shops and the shopping centres near. Doctors, hospitals and parks etc are all within walking distance.
Transport in London for under 16 is free so it easy getting around.
Brownies Guides, Cubs, scouts, army and sea cadets are all local.
Nice neighbours you can meet them if you want to, If you are interestedd please get back to me and we can swap details Thanks |

I have a 3 bedroom house in Cambridge, not to far from m11. It is an end terraced with a large back garden (about 70ft long) and a front garden that is being used for our car as we have a dropped kerb.
we have just had a new 6ft high side gate and fence panel put on at the side of the house, as we have children.
discription of the the house:- you walk into the front door (which is new) and the stairs are directly in front of you,(hall could do with a lick of paint.) there is a door on your right which is the living room (can be the dining room, your choice) it has sanded and varnished flooring newly decorated in very light brown 10ft by 13.4ft. you walk through the lounge to another door whcih is our dining room/music room, it has 3 built in cupboards on the left all next to each other. nice walk in style. room is 13.4 by 13ft. it also has sanded flooring but not yet varnished. the room is a light wholemeal colour. then you come to another door to a small hallway whcih has the back door to your right and the wc door and bathroom doors on the left (the bathroom and wc is due a new refit this year.). straight ahaed is the kitchen. all has new lino tile flooring. the kitchen is 9ft by 8ft. the kitchen window looks out onto the garden whcih has a shed at the end.
up stairs, small hallway, 1mtr by 2mtrs squared with the loft hatch above you, which has flooring laid to walk in there. to your left there is the small single bedroom. i have a single bed an draws in there an there is still some room. this room is lamented its about 7ft by 9 ft. straight ahead you have the double bedroom which is of good size about 10ft by 11ft. then on the right you have the master bedroom which has a walk in wardrobe which goes above the stairs and it has a small window and centre opening doors.
in the master room we have a superking bed, and double draw unit and still lots of room. (no carpet)
the area:-2 minute walk to the tesco express and newsagents, down the road from it is a fantastic chinese/chippy , there is also a small post office, a local pub a dental practice, local cubs an scouts group, and girl guides. also there is 3 hairdresser, a laundrette, computor shop, fishing shop, and bike shop. these are all within a 5 minute walk from the house, yet you never hear anything at our house. If you walk past the express for 2 minutes you are at the river cam, whcih is out of this world. it would take you 20 mins to walk to town, or 5 mins round the corner from the house is a bus stop straight there. there is also a local pub right by the river an you can sit on the river bank to eat your lunch and have a drink.
neighbours are both owners of there home, and the elderly man directly next door is quiet and very kind, he even offers fresh fruit from his tree when they are ripe.
there is schools from 5 minutes walk away and transport is great here.
it is gsh and double glazed. rent is about £91.. week and it has rtb. it is a wonderfull area an i shall miss it,
with thanks, Clare |
