Hi there!
We have a 3 bedroomed mid terrace Housing Association house in the Furze Platt area of Maidenhead, Berkshire. The house has central heating and double gazing and is in good decorative order. It consists of a hallway, downstairs toilet, good sized front room and kitchen with cupboard under the stairs with lighting and some shelving.
Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms and one small one. There is also a bathroom with toilet and an airing cupboard.
The stairs and landing are carpeted - the rest of the house is either tiled or has laminated flooring.
The loft is fully boarded out with lighting - brilliant for storage.
Small turfed front garden, back garden is slabbed with small raised fish pond and shed, real suntrap in summer - ideal for sun worshippers!
A shopping parade, which includes a Budgens supermarket, chemist, petshop and newsagent, is a couple of minutes walk away! Maidenhead town centre is about 1 mile away but we are also central to Slough, High Wycombe and Reading.
There are several good schools and amenities in the vicinity. Close to motorways and train station.
Beautiful views from the front upstairs windows including Cliveden House and the Moor which is a short walk away and ideal for dog walkers and ramblers. The River Thames is also nearby which offers many scenic walks or just laze at the riverside and watch the boats go by! Historic places nearby include Windsor and Runnymede.
Lovely neighbours, great community spirit, we have lived here for 10 years but are longing for a fresh start in new surroundings.
